| Gia al Qamar, Founder, Artistic Director & Choreographer of The Urban Desert Dancers has been entertaining NY & NJ audiences with her powerful Middle Eastern Nightclub style dancing for years. A much beloved & award winning Belly Dance teacher, she also performs at weddings, parties & elegant affairs all over NJ as well as stage shows, parties, showcases, corporate events & more! Her "Urban Desert Dancers" Troupe is a real labor of love for Gia, who hand picks each & trains every Goddess who blesses its ranks. |
| Victoria had a burning desire to learn belly dance, but had to wait until 1999, when she (finally!) found a place to take classes. It's been a source of passion in her life ever since. One of her favorite aspects of the dance is its celebration of femininity and its ability to emote joy between both dancer and audience. |
| Mikaila has studied & performed Middle Eastern Dance for more than 5 years in many NJ/NY are student shows, a Veterans benefit show, & an Arabian Nights Super Sweet 16 at Trump's Private Country Club. |

| Mochinda started dancing in 2006, and several (thousand) shimmies later, is now proud to be a part of the Urban Desert Dancers! She loves how Middle Eastern Dance evokes the feminine spirit and celebrates the female body in all its forms. |
