| People adore adding a Belly Dancer to entertain at festive occasions, such as a birthday, wedding, anniversary, bridal or baby shower & at retirement parties, commitment ceremonies, Office Parties, for Women's Clubs & Organizations & Festivals. The only restriction to your event is your imagination!!! My shows range in time and price to suit every budget and range in mood from Festive traditional Cabaret, to more demure folkloric-dance sets and even wild Fusion motifs! I happily provide details about what will be included in your show! Please inquire! I create many moods through my dance! Sets can be created to include zills, veils, shamedan, candles, tray, cane, sword, floorwork, Isis Wings & much more! What to expect? First...expect a fun, reliable, professional, skilled authentic performer who loves to involve the guest of honor and audience in the celebration! A typical Party Show, for instance, involves surprising the guest of honor! I enter in a swirl of veils, playing my zills, and, after handing the honoree a beautiful complimentary card from the person who hired me, I dance just for this person! I drape one veil across that person's shoulders, and present a "Sultan's Hat" for the guest of honor to wear! The guests at the party cheer and take pictures as the guest of honor dances with me, shimmies, waves the veil and more! After dancing a bit more, I offer another veil to a guest, and then another...these folks get up with me to make a 'harem' for the guest of honor! It's fun and memorable and makes for a day that no one at the party will ever forget! At Weddings, I can escort the bride and groom to their table carrying candles or dancing to Zeffa music, wearing the traditional Shamedan (Candelabra Headdress). After they are seated, I perform a dance set, then return during the reception to dance for the bride and groom! I then entice the entire bridal party to the dance floor to dance for the new groom! All shows are custom and can include as much or as little as you would like! Performances run from 7 to 30+ minutes. (Please note...the one-song "Hip-and-Run" Belly-Gram is currently unavailable on weekends! I am available to do these 'quickie' Belly-Grams on Weekdays only!) | The Dance: If you are unfamiliar with Belly Dance, or have a pre-conceived notion because of the popular 'myths' surrounding this ancient, sacred form of dance...you should know that the dance is, indeed, sensual, but, my shows are always 'family oriented' and have no element that I consider 'risqué' or bawdy. | Is cost an issue? Don't fear! I have a wide range of shows & prices Should you hire a 'less' expensive dancer? You can. But please be aware that lower-cost dancers are almost always hobbyists & students and are NOT reliable, trained entertainers who will give you your money's worth! You can present my shows with pride to your family, friends! |
