Here are some General Class Rules:
Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, sign in & quietly move to the side or back of
class so as not to disturb other students. Please keep social-talk to a minimum so as
not to disturb other students. Silence cell phones BEFORE class begins. No street
shoes allowed on the dance floor. No gum chewing-this is a hazard!
COME PREPARED. Bring your veil, dance shoes, hip scarf, zills & props to EVERY
class. I am not able to ‘loan’ things on a regular basis!
If you are ill, please stay home to protect your well being and the health of
your teacher & the other students!
You're welcome to wear almost any variety of hip scarf to class, HOWEVER, if your
hipscarf is 'shedding' beads, coins or anything that falls on the floor, PLEASE remove
it at once and leave it home for practice.
Stepping on beads, coins, etc is a DANGER to other dancers as well as yourself!

What Every Student needs to know for class...

Belly Dance is a muscle-toning, low impact cardio exercise. You MUST
check with your doctor to assure your fitness for class.
Do you have ANY physical issues that might hinder your safety in
class? Please tell your doctor AND your instructor!
You are responsible for your own safety in class!
Every student can make-up TWO classes for every 6 week session purchased. You may make-up a missed class on a day  
OTHER than your regular class and you have a full month to do so. You MUST make-up in the SAME studio as your usual
class. Make-up classes are offered as a COURTESY to my students. If you are not able to make-up the class for ANY
reason, you FORFEIT the class.
If you join mid-session and have paid for LESS THAN 6 CLASSES, you are allowed only ONE make up!

YOU CANNOT 'ROLL OVER' MISSED CLASSES TO THE NEXT SESSION OR RECEIVE DISCOUNTS FOR MISSED
CLASSES.  ADDITIONALLY...NO REFUNDS ARE OFFERED TO ANY STUDENT WHO CANNOT ATTEND AFTER THE
FIRST CLASS OF THE NEW SESSION WHETHER OR NOT THEY'RE ABLE TO ATTEND THAT CLASS.
THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.

Class size is limited. Space in class is reserved for those who pay in on time! Students who pay late may lose their spot in
class. Preference for enrollment is given to continuing students. Bounced check fees are subject to fines.

I happily assist students in emergency situations. Please discuss any problems with me and I’ll do my best to help!
These Policies are printed on cards that have been handed to EVERY student who enrolls in class!
